WORKPACKAGE 4 : Maritime ERASMUS


The objectives of this work package is to design and implement an exchange pilot action within METs. It will shape a common pilot training program “Maritime Erasmus” at EU level for students in the maritime transport sector (in line with the maritime Erasmus concept following the EC recommendations in "the European Union's Maritime Transport Policy for 2018).


The Cooperation between European METs and industry at EU level aims to improve the labor mobility and promote the attractiveness of maritime professions. It will Launch the bases for European mobility for students, trainees, trainers and teachers.

This Work Package will produce added value via:

  • Signature of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between entities, dealing with maritime education, promoting the quality of education and training in the maritime transport;
  • Exchange students ;
  • Set-up a one semester module on the basis of a Maritime Erasmus “exchange”;
  • Disseminate the main results and explore conditions for the replication of the Programme.

 

This work package coordinated by the CPMR, will be carried with the support of the Core Group – composed of bodies having expressed their desire to support its activities. It will include:
